We meet for worship each Lord’s day at 10:00 am in the Oberlin Community Center located at 285 South Professor Street, Oberlin, Ohio. - Saint Andrews Cathedral
- The haunting images on this page reveal the remains of Saint Andrews Cathedral in Scotland. Named after the Apostle Andrew, Saint Andrews rose to prominence in the Scottish church, eventually becoming the ecclesiastical capital of Scotland.
Over the centuries, this once glorious cathedral has been reduced to ruins, nearly all traces of its beauty and grandeur having disappeared.
What inestimable joy it would be to see this cathedral repaired to its former glory.
- Our Vision
- Our vision and desire is to repair ruins of a different nature.
The Puritan poet John Milton in an essay on the chief aim of education remarked “We seek to repair the ruins created by our first parents.”
The Apostle Paul gives the biblical directive on how to achieve that goal when he directs us to “be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
This then is the vision and goal of Saint Andrews; repairing the ruins by the renewing of the mind.
- Our Purpose
- Our true and unfeigned purpose, and endeavor in all duties we owe to God and man, is to amend our lives, and each one to go before another in the example of a real reformation.
We most humbly beseech the Lord to strengthen us by His Holy Spirit for this end, and for His glory and honor.
We invite those who sincerely and humbly desire to return with us to the faith and practices of the Reformed Presbyterian Church to join us for worship each Lord's day.
